Top 3 Stores for the Not-So-Trendy Men

Top 3 Stores for the Not-So-Trendy Men

As a guy who hates trend stores like Hollister, American Eagle and Aeropostale; I can tell you how much I struggle to find stores in the mall that appeal to me.I do most of my shopping online that has become expensive recently and shipping has become really annoying (I want my clothes right away!).That is why it is better to go to the mall! You don't have to wait for shipping and don't have to pay extra money! But the mall doesn't have everything the Not-So-Trendy man is looking for so.HERE ARE YOUR TOP 3 STORES FOR THE NOT-SO-TRENDY MEN.NUMBER 1.The first store is Urban Behaviour! I remember when this first opened at the nearest mall, I was instantly in love with how many different styles of clothing they had.Their clothes at Urban Behaviour are so stylish, cool, and unique from all other stores that you will find yourself coming back here for almost anything you need. from jeans to sweaters to jackets, Urban Behaviour has what the Not-So-Trendy man is looking for.NUMBER 2.Forever21 is a bit on the trendy side, but unlike other Trend stores their mannequins can actually dress well. When I went to Forever21 there weren't as many clothes for guys as there were for girls.I remember walking into the two story store with both floors covered with women's clothing, and the men's section was in the corner behind the stairs to the second floor. It's kinds funny but that doesn't mean it is not a good store for men! This is one of my favourite stores because it's trendy but has it's own unique style and you can definitely find things that you won't find in any other stores.NUMBER 3.H&M is our last store for the Not-So-Trendy Men.H&M is one of the best places to shop for men, and I can say that it is my favourite store in any mall.H&M does sell Trendy clothing but it also sells clothes that are not in the Trends so has most things that people look for, I also love the quality of their clothing, it's great and affordable which is always a plus and this store will not disappoint you; H&M always has new clothing every season! which is another plus and every season there are always different styles, I have become so in love with this store that it is always the first and the lasts store that I go to on my mall trips. So that is your Top 3 Stores for the Not-So-Trendy Men.Next time you decide to go to the mall and you're looking for trendy clothes that are not so trendy (If that makes sense) then check out these amazing stores!

What to Do When They Don't Call Back After Your Job Interview

What to Do When They Don

Not getting a follow up call, as promised, happens more than you think.Candidates are sure that they are a shoe-in for the position, and expecting an offer, and then nothing. This is not only frustrating for the candidate, but reflects poorly on the company.Expecting a call that doesn't come.Cheryl feels confident that she aced the interview, and has followed up with a dynamite thank you letter. She was told a decision would be made before the end of the week, and is almost sure she will be getting an offer. That was Tuesday, and by Friday she is having doubts. There has been no call from the company.Does this mean she isn't going to get an offer? Should she call and ask, "What's up?" Should she just hang by her nails over the weekend? What to do?Cheryl decides to consults her cousin, Gloria, who is an HR manager at another company.Gloria tells her that she should call the interviewer and find out where she stands. She advises her to wait until Tuesday to call.(Mondays are always bad). The follow up phone call.On Tuesday morning, Cheryl is equipped with a script so she will be focused and confident when she makes her call. She gets a voice mail and leaves her message."Miss French, This is Cheryl Jones, we met last Tuesday when I interviewed for the position of Customer Service Rep.I'd like to inquire about the status of the position and whether I am still under consideration for the job.I would appreciate it if you would get back to me today. My number is 333-999-8888.Thank you for your time.".Be persistent - not a pest.If you don't get a return call as promised, call them and leave a message.Be prepared, professional, and courteous.Try to reach the person at least one to three times, explaining that you want the information before you consider other positions because this company would be your first choice. If you don't get an answer, consider it a "No" answer. There is a fine line between being persistent and being a pest. You may get lucky and get a "live" person when you call to find out your status. If you do have such luck, you can use this opportunity to ask for feedback on your interviewing effectiveness.Sometimes, not often, a person will spend some time and give you advice. If this happens, be grateful and learn from the experience. Most employers are aware that candidates are anxious about the status of their acceptance, and will let them know in a timely manner. But, there are employers who do keep candidates waiting and wondering what happened, even though they said they would call by a certain date.Take this into consideration as information about the company's practices and whether you would want to work for this company. In the meantime, rather than sitting and waiting for that phone call that may never come, continue to work on your job search. It is never wise to "put all your eggs in one basket.".

Make a list and stick with it.Write down all the supplies you child may need this year.A list will give you an idea of what or what not to grab while shopping and avoid spending on supplies you don't intend to spend. You might get tempted to grab those cute items but think before doing so.Does your kid really need it? It's a waste of money if your child ends up not using some items you've bought.Shop early and look for great deals.Give yourself enough time to compare prices while your shop around.Keep yourself open for other discounts because there might be a cheaper offer on other stores like a box of markers may be $1.00, crayons for 10 cents and 5-cent folders. This is one of the only times that retailers offer great sales on school supplies.Regular prices can go twice or three times as much the rest of the year.Shop at discount stores like Sears, Target, or Wal-Mart.These stores get pretty competitive during back-to-school sale.Oftentimes, they will price-match, which means they will match the competitor's price or give you a discount if you find the same item for less at another store.Imagine the savings you will have.Take advantage of coupon and promo codes.Your savings will be even greater if everything is on sale and you use a coupon or a coupon code. You can find coupon codes and printable coupons listed online or in newspapers. You don't have to feel broke after your back-to-school shopping.Plan ahead and keep these tips in mind to ensure you still have enough money before the school year starts.
